Foi construída durante o século 16, conforme desenhos feitos por Michelangelo Buonarroti, ele adaptou uma parte da estrutura existente das termas de Dicleciano para envolver uma igreja.

It was built during the 16th century as per drawings done by Michelangelo Buonarroti,he adapted a section of the remaining structure of the baths of Dicletian to enclose a church.

Il a été construit au XVIe siècle selon les dessins de Michelangelo Buonarroti, il a adapté une section de la structure restante des thermes de Dicletian pour enfermer une église.
